I'm an early-morning person.
It started when I wanted to be a writer. I had kids, and they'd stay up late but usually sleep in. If I wanted to write, the morning was my opportunity.
I first tried getting up 30 minutes early, then 1 hour. Somewhere, I settled into a 5:00 a.m. wake-up. Now, my body wakes me, even if I want to sleep in.
As the kids are older and out of the house, I no longer write that early. But I still wake at the same time: to journal, read, and plan my day. So, I figured why not switch my publishing to 5 a.m?
We'll see how long it lasts.
