A big reason for turning them on is that starting next week, I'm trying something new.

On Monday, I'm kicking off a weekly question about writing, with the hope that we can turn this space into an open conversation. Although I can be stubborn about some things with writing, I strongly believe that everyone's voices and perspectives can make a difference.

A big shout-out to Yanyi, a writer and teacher, who does this on Wednesdays with his audience. I was completely inspired by his approach.
