Shadows and leaves

An odd day. A sad day. I found out that an old acquaintance had passed away. I wouldn’t have known if someone from those days hadn’t reached out to let me know.

We had grown apart, going through each our own thing. But still, when someone you knew passes away suddenly, with still so much life ahead, it is heartbreaking.

I know he’ll be missed.
