Another quick tip came from somewhere deep in Ask MetaFilter: if you’re presented with some large meal, rich food, or incredible looking dessert, ask yourself if you’ll remember it two weeks from now. If the answer is yes, by all means go ahead and eat it and enjoy it and think back on how wonderful it was weeks from now. If the answer is no, put the fork down and go do something else.

Maybe that’s why I let myself off in Greece. I think I remember all of it.
